Holy Week 2020

“In the present situation, in which we find ourselves living more or less isolated, we are invited to rediscover and deepen the value of the communion that unites all the members of the church. United to Christ we are never alone, we form one body, of which he is the head. It is a union that is nourished with prayer, and also with spiritual communion in the Eucharist.” – Pope Francis

As we approach Holy Week this year under our difficult circumstances, we find ourselves with an opportunity to refresh our faith from within.  Denied the ability to join with our parish family during this holiest of weeks or participate in mission activities, we must be resourceful and resilient in living out our faith and continuing to spread the word of God.

Holy Week at Home is an online retreat designed to help you delve deeper into the central mysteries of our faith from the confines of your home. Join members of Regnum Christi from all walks of life, Legionaries of Christ, Lay Consecrated Men & Women of Regnum Christi, and lay members, who have prepared daily reflections and live-streamed liturgies to accompany you in your faith journey this Holy Week.

Each day will include links to a morning reflection taken from the daily readings, live streaming of the liturgies and rosary in which you may submit your intentions, and an afternoon reflection focusing on the events leading to and including Jesus’ passion, death, and resurrection.

During this time when so many cannot attend Holy Mass in person, we invite you to join us as Fr. Mark Haydu, LC, offers Daily Mass live-streamed on the Legionaries of Christ Facebook page.

Masses are live-streamed Monday through Saturday at 7:30 am Eastern Time, and Sundays at 9:00 am Eastern Time.

Fr. Mark Haydu, LC and Fr. Jason Smith, LC, also invite you to pray the Rosary with them live on weekdays at 6:30 pm Eastern Time on the Legionaries of Christ Facebook page.

A number of other Legionaries of Christ will also be offering live streams of the Holy Mass over social media at different times and in different time zones: CLICK HERE for further information.
